I've volunteered to bring a cake to a Christmas event at my son's preschool.
I'm a good baker but my children quite often reject the things I bake (especially biscuits) in favour of commercially produced rubbish.
Does anyone have a failsafe cake recipe that will go down well with a class of 3 year olds and their parents? Bonus points if it looks festive.
