Pinhead oatmeal

I really like it, nutty taste and keeps me full till lunchtime whereas normal porridge oats wear off about 11.

Anyway I can't find it in the shops and have to buy Fromm Amazon. Where do you buy yours?

Used to be able to get Medium or Course oatmeal via Ocado, but I’m not seeing it now. Which means I’m almost forgetting it exists. I agree it has a different quality to oats; very satisfying in the depths of winter.

Pimhill is the obvious place though it’s a bit of an investment:

(I buy 850 gram bags of Pimhill muesli from Riverford, but they don’t offer the oatmeal.) You could investigate other veg box delivery sites.

Just remembered Planet Organic. A quick search says not - but I’d be surprised if it’s really not stocked in their shops.

BTW you may find jumbo oats more satisfying than the ordinary kind.

We get ours from a local health food shop if you have one nearby

We've got a Holland and Barret and another chain whose name I forget, no luck there. Not in M&S or Tesco or Coop which are our only choices.

I'll have a try in one of the out of town health food shops next time I'm passing. The Flanavan ones are good but they are £7 on Amazon! So I'm buying some Wholefood ones on line for £2.

Jumbo oats are more filling but ...still don't quite get me to lunchtime. Lovely in a crumble topping though.
