Fail safe method for topside beef please!

I've got a small joint instead of chicken for a change today. I don't even eat it but have not felt like when I've done beef before that it's been especially juicy. I've found All manner of recipes browsed but I just want to time it right and know if you have any tips. Foil or no foil? Liquid or no liquid ? Fast or slow ? Thank you !!

Probably too late in the day now, but why can't the beef-eater you are presumably cooking it for do it his/herself ?
