has anyone got any nice recipe ideas for a dieting lady with way too much weight to lose??

moroccan vegetable tagine with couscous:

chop up onions, garlic, carrots,chilli, butternut squash, caurgette, sweet potato and apples in any quantity you want, cook in a big saucepan with the lid on and one cup of water. When tender add half a teaspoon of connamon, half a tsp of cumin and a tin of chopped tomatoes. Cook for a further 20 minutes on a low heat. Add chickpeas and a handful of raisins if you want. Just before serving add a few heaped tbsp of chopped coriander and some harrisa paste if you want it hot.

Serve with a small portion of couscous cooked in water, no oil added.

I eat this on its own a lot without the couscous too, it is delish.

Salmon & Vegetable Asian Soup

Just adjust quantities depending on how many you're serving (my kids love this). Would be nice with chicken or turkey breast as well.

Bring chicken or fish stock to the boil, add fresh salmon fillet (no skin), vegetables (broccoli, spinach, asian veges, spring onion, mushroom) and asian noodles. Add soy sauce to taste. Simmer 5-10 mins until all cooked. To keep the carbs down serve less noodles for yourself and more veges.
