Roast potatoes and air fryer question

Would it work to cook roast potatoes as usual in the oven at Christmas but take them out to use the oven for other things then warm up and re-crisp the potatoes in the air fryer before serving?

Definitely! I do this the whole time. They're great 😊

Mmmm, I think I might try this!

💯 yes!

And it doesn't change then or ruin them? If they are ready when they come out the over, what temperature and for how long should they go in the air fryer?

If you are worried, parboil, shake about and leave to dry in their heat as normal. When cold, pour a drop of oil in a big mixing bowl and shuffle them around coating all in oil. Then open freeze, when frozen put in a bag and on the day - you have frozen roasties ready for the air fryer

I'm having to convince DH who prides himself on his roast potatoes 😄

Not sure on your model of air fryer, I have the dual drawer and what I did the last two christmases was I took out the trivet, put in the goose fat and cooked them like that - absolutely lush . Air fryer is just a tiny oven after all and I just used the drawers as the roasting tin
