Im not sure anyone will know what Im talking about but when I was a kid I had a recipe book that was for kids to learn how to cook or their first recipes or something like that. It was ring bound, cover mostly white I believe (but memory hazy)

It had a recipe for French onion soup in it. I know there are countless out there but Im just wondering if someone had or has the same book, does it ring any bells with anyone?

I cant remember any other dishes from it

I had one that sounds similar from the description - recipes I remember are apple drop scones and a cheese version of bread and butter pudding which was awesome. Might still have it somewhere never throw anything away Blush

Is the front sort of cartoony, but not childish. If that makes sense.

Yes!
Just wish I could see the blooming title in my mind too!

If this is what I'm thinking of is it "have fun cooking"? I've got a copy it's a Sainsbury's cookbook (1984)
I really hope it is!

Its funny you say about the cheese bread and butter pudding because as an adult I thought I had invented that. Perhaps I knew about it when I was 10 then?!!

Was it one of those collections, where you’d get the ring binder (white plastic with the name on the front) & then buy the magazine every fortnight / month until you had the collection? I remember us having recipe ones, DIY / home decor ones.
