Half a bunch of coriander (in recipe)

I have a recipe for prawn burgers which calls for "half a bunch of coriander".

Having googled this, I am getting a variety of responses! Whilst I love coriander and do want to taste, I don't want it to overpower the flavour of the prawns.

Can anyone advise in grammes?

A Waitrose bunch is 25g. I would just use half of that by eye.

If you buy a normal packet of coriander from Sainsbury's it is 30g, so I'd say 15g. The bigger packs are 100g, but I doubt it's half of that. Make a note of how much you use then you can modify it next time.

Bunch is 25g so 12.5g, but Tesco has a 155g bunch, who made the recipe?

BlackChunkyBoots · 06/12/2024 15:32

Spilt the bunch in half. Done.

@Doggymummar It's just a recipe torn out of a magazine!

@Janek Stupidly, I know I made this recipe before, years ago probably, as I wrote "fab!" on top however I didn't make any note of how much coriander I actually used!

Sounds like 12 - 15g is the way to go.

Thanks all 🙂

@BlackChunkyBoots It's a 50g pack though - sounds like 25mg might be overdoing it!
