Best gingerbread recipe?

I’ve never made it before but want to make some gingerbread cake (the sticky type like Parkin but no oats) and gingerbread biscuits.

Can anyone suggest their favourite recipes please

This is my failsafe go-to. It comes out all soft and chewy in the centre but still stable enough to ice/store etc.
