Have I given my baby food poisoning?

I feel like the worst mum in the world so please no judgement.

My daughter was at my MIL's today and didn't want the lunch I'd made her. My MIL tried her with a ready made toddler meal but again she didn't want much of that. She stored it for me so I could then give to my daughter when I got her home. So on auto pilot I then popped it in the microwave for 20 seconds just to take the chill off of it as I normally do. I wasn't thinking that my MIL had done the same thing earlier so I should either have binned it or fully reheated it. My daughter went to bed as normal and woke up at 1.30am and has been sick twice. She's sleeping now. I feel absolutely awful that I've caused this for her.

If she didn’t want her lunch then it’s possible that she was already feeling sick and she’s got a bug.

Agree with pp. Mine does this when she's sick.

Even if you did, it'll just strengthen her immune system. I once have dd 5 day past expiry chicken balls by accident. She threw up all night and day but then was cleared by the doctor who said it had probably done her a bit of good.
