Just fry in olive oil? Any interesting recipes - got a bag in the freezer.

no idea, I'd stick em in a soup (not sure frozen artichokes would be that tasty otherwise?) but bumping for someone else who might know.

Are they whole artichokes or just the hearts? Big or small?

Could you just defrost them and use them like fresh ones?

My MIL does a really good stuffed artichoke dish (from fresh)

You take the whole artichoke, take off the hard outside leaves,(if in doubt take off more, the way she does it you throw away quite a lot) cut off the stem so it can stand upright, and then core out the middle (reserve this bit).

Then fry up some onion, garlic, bacon or ham, peas and the artichoke heart in lots of olive oil.

When this is soft, mix it with breadcrumbs and stuff the artichokes.

Place them in a baking dish or oven tray, drizzle with more oil and some white wine or sherry, and water and bake for about half an hour.

Don't think they are stuffable but can fry them up - thanks for the recipe though, may well try it but I hate preparing them thats why I bought the frozen pack. Was surprised no recipe or no real instructions on how to prepare them on the pack.
