Any ideas for things to take to work for lunch? We don't have a toaster.

When I was working in the office regularly I mostly took (deliberate) leftovers/normal meals and mixed it up with the odd sandwich day (not a cold sandwich fan):

Chilli (meat or veggie) and rice
Pasta bolognese
Pasta and tomato sauce (pot of grated cheese to go on it)
Lasagne
Chorizo/chicken rice
Sausages, then had a roll to make a sausage sandwich
Keema and rice
Chicken curry and rice
Risotto
Minestrone soup
Curried carrot and lentil soup
Spicy chicken with peppers and onions (with a wrap or pitta to put them in)

Wraps were my favourite to take but if I fancied something warm I used to take noodles alot like this everyone was always jealous 😅. Sometimes I'd take a precooked jacket potato and a snap pot of beans and some grated cheese or tuna mayo. Did mug omelette things a few times using the office milk and a tub of chopped up fillings and a couple of eggs. Burritos with leftover chilli and rice wrapped in baking paper. And I may be a bit weird but I really love cold pizza so occasionally made pitta pizza.

Should say the burrito was in a proper wrap and then wrapped in baking paper to secure and microwaved. I didn't just wrap up chilli and rice in baking paper 😅

Microwave cheese pitta! Split a pitta bread, butter both sides, add sliced cheese so like a sandwich. Microwave for 30 seconds/ longer depending on microwave strength until the cheese is melted and the pitta bread is still soft
