Detail:
I’ll be 38/39 weeks pregnant for my toddlers 2 year bday
inlaws are adamant they want to come over (and eat)

what would you serve at this stage?
could do with something affordable and obviously easy. Dh will help with prep.

there will be 6 adults and my 2yo

If it's your little one's birthday just do his favourite. MIL get the same be that fish fingers and chips, pesto pasta or spaghetti hoops on toast. (I'm really hoping it's super simple but weird toddler thing like Yorkshire puddings with baked bean.

I would not be having them. However if you feel you must, I agree that it is dh's show to run and the food should be the birthday child's favourite food.

I’ve got this shoulder of pork recipe in the slow cooker ready to be put in the crock pot tomorrow morning and cook on low until lunch late afternoon- serving with rice and tenderstem broccoli done in the air fry, microwave rice makes it easy

I found some dry sherry at the back of the drinks cabinet
