Nigella's Rolled Stuffed Pork Loin recipe: advice on advance prep please!

I want to make Nigella's Rolled Stuffed Pork for our Christmas lunch. In the book, it says it can be prepared 6 hours ahead. It's basically stuffed with bacon, onions, garlic & dried cranberries, rolled and then wrapped in more bacon.

I want to do all the prep Christmas Eve so it would be sitting in the fridge for approx 24 hours which obviously is more than they suggest. Does anyone know if this would be okay?

I'm sure there is a specific reason that they state 6 hours ahead but I don't want to spend Christmas morning faffing about making it from scratch!

For ease of cooking / prep I’ve prepared a similar recipe early by doing the stuffing separately in a dish, then bunging it into the oven for the last 20/30 mins. It works out far better imo. It’s easier to slice & serve the meat, and no last minute worry about the pork loin being cooked all the way through because of the stuffing being in the middle.

It sounds similar to a porchetta, which I make regularly. Absolutely no reason you couldn’t prepare it the day before. Just make sure it’s rolled and tied tightly with butcher’s string to keep the filling inside (this is the main risk of leaving it sat around too long). I would add the layer of bacon before you put in the oven though.
