Muscatel / Pudding raisins

Many years ago, when making Christmas cake or pudding, I would buy a box of ‘Seeded Muscatel’ or ‘pudding’ raisins from Sainsbury’s - large, so sticky that they’d stick together in a clump in the box and with the distinctive flavour also found in Muscat dessert wine.

Then they disappeared, and I have never seen them again. My mum (who has dementia) lit up when we talked about them and I would love to find her some to bake Christmas products together.

Any clues?

OP, you'll probably have to buy them online and pay P&P, unfortunately.

And yes, they are also called lexia raisins e.g. here https://www.bakersandlarners.co.uk/shire-lexia-raisins-300g?srsltid=AfmBOopQgIe6cq2WOnHJvcBkOl-K7yoWJGmlJE_tuLDRZ1kJqszEzbHU

But there seem to be plenty of other online suppliers as well.

Shire Lexia Raisins 300g

Plump, juicy, naturally sweet and sticky.
