Dc are carving their pumpkins. I know carving pumpkins don't have as much flavour as smaller pumpkins or squash however it feels a shame to waste them.
What's your favourite pumpkin recipe? Sweet or savoury.
35 weeks pregnant so as easy as possible please!

Risotto.

Add sage and bacon.

I had mine tonight 👍

Fab thanks, some great suggestions.

How would I go about turning into a puree? I could roast the big chunks but not sure it would work for the smaller bits.

Treat it like broccoli or carrot. You can boil or steam it. Can microwave too.

Roast the seeds with butter and salt and throw the rest away.

Honestly, don't bother! Carving pumpkins are grown to be tasty. At best disappointing, at worst massively loosening to the bowels.
