Greek/Middle Eastern recipes

I've got friends coming for dinner in a couple of weeks. Fairly chilled, not a dinner party. They're great cooks though and I'd like to cook them something nice.
2 of us are veggie. Other 4 are meat eaters. I was thinking middle eastern/greek food as it lends itself to do a few different dishes.
Anyone got any recipe recommendations or even good recipe books I could use? I'm definitely making baba ganoush and tabbouleh cos I love those and they're easy.

Georgina Haydens book Taverna is great. She is a Londoner from a Greek Cypriot family and I have had success with a number of the recipes.

Slow-cooked Lamb Shoulder with Fresh Dates
Portokalopita (Orange, Yoghurt and Filo Cake) is really good, she has a video on YouTube which you can watch on it.
Cocktail stick with halloumi and watermelon as an mezze dish.

Two of my favourite Middle Eastern dishes are:
Fatteh https://www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/vegetarian/fatteh-salad/
Mejadra https://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/mejadra.html

Pides are always popular. They’re basically the Turkish version of pizza. Here’s a really easy one https://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/cheats-turkish-pide.html and a vegetarian version https://www.olivemagazine.com/recipes/vegetarian/pepper-and-halloumi-pide/

This is delicious and worth it if you’ve got the time:

I like the bbc chicken souvlaki recipe, I leave the thighs whole and serve with Greek salad/flatbreads. Stuffed peppers and tomatoes are a good veggie option.

Briam is a lovely Greek dish, better than ratatouille, theres different versions of it if you google

Jerusalem (Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tammimi) is a really good book with great recipes in it.

Air fry some whole red peppers (just cut out the stalks and seeds first), then stuff with a mix of cooked orzo, plus lamb mince which has been fried with onion, garlic, cumin, allspice, chilli powder, mint and dill. Put some cubes of halloumi on top then grill. Tasty and looks really good.
