Ham soup

I have some ham stock. Hit me with your best recipes! Preferably with no soaking of anything.

How about a nice Pea and Ham Soup using frozen peas so no soaking

Pea ham and mint soup. Have you checked the stock isn't too salty though?

That is an idea. I don't believe in the concept of 'too salty' But now you say that, I will check.

Lentil & bacon, one of my favourites.

I can't find the exact recipe but

Onions, celery carrot finely chopped, fry.

Add bay leaf, black beluga lentils, glass of while, fry

Add stock bubble for a bit till lentils tender, they don't cook down (you could use puy) yellow peppers sliced

Finish off with a bit of vinegar....
