What to do with Silesian sausages?

I've been to Lidl.😂

In my fridge I now have a pack of 6 Silesian sausages, and have no idea what to do with them, so if anyone has any recipes or good ways to cook with them, I'd love to know, thanks.

You could slice them and freeze the slices on a tray before bagging them so you can shake out a few to give flavour to sautéed mushroom/egg/tomato breakfasts.

I slice them lengthwise and grill them on a George Forman grill.
you can also fry them and have them with some sauce onions. Mustard/ ketchup, some sourdough bread.

That’s how we have them in Silesia. :)

Thank you both.

I love these. As a child, we’d have them sliced and fried with onions and peppers. Could put them on a crusty roll or have with mash or with pasta.

@mindutopia that sounds ideal, I was thinking of doing something with peppers and onions, so I will have to experiment.

Wonderful sliced in a lentil soup or cooked together with any kind of cabbage.

Reporting back with what I did in the end - sliced it, and pan fried with chopped peppers, onions & mushrooms, added a tin of chopped tomatoes and some sliced new potatoes I'd already par-boiled. Let it all simmer for a while and then served in in big bowls on top of shredded cabbage. Quite chuffed how it turned out.
