Yeah sorry, just saw that, apologies.

I just find it so frustrating when people ask questions that the op has answered in the opening post. (It’s usually one of the first replies too). I must have read about five or six posts today where this has been the case! Plus I had about two hours sleep last night so probably a little crankier than necessary

I have edited my post, and reported it.

edit - spelling (also annoys me when people edit, and don’t say the reason, ETA etc.).

Spaghetti Bol, (3 days worth if 500g)
Chickpea curry and rice
Redkidney bean, a crumbled up burger and carrots chilli with rice one day, wraps next
Gammon steak, chips and peas
Sausages, veg (can you afford a bag of spuds and bag onions?)

If extra potatoes available baked potatoes with tuna and sweetcorn

Chicken in breadcrumbs veg and chips/potatoes

Cheese scones with the final chicken piece halved

Tuna & sweetcorn pasta
Bolognese
Chickpea curry with the carrots and potatoes
Veggie chilli with the kidney beans and veg, tortilla wraps or rice
Gammon and chips
Toad in the hole with the sausages
Veggie rice (frozen veg, herbs & spices, stir it up with cooked rice)
Breaded chicken with chips & veg or in tortilla wraps with tomatoes
Leftover day with the burger/3rd breaded chicken/anything you have left

If you could afford a bag of cheap white potatoes you could make wedges/mash/add to curry to make your meals go further

Thought this is the sort of thing ChatGPT might excel in. I asked it your question. No idea if the answer is helpful, but here goes:

Here are some meal ideas to help stretch your essentials over the next 10 days:

1. Spaghetti Bolognese

Use your mince steak, tin of tomatoes, and Bolognese sauce. Serve over pasta with garlic bread on the side. You can bulk it up with carrots (grated or chopped) and peas from the freezer for extra veg.

2. Gammon Steak with Veg and Chips

Serve the gammon steak with your chips and one of the frozen veg sachets. You could add a little Branston pickle on the side for extra flavor.

3. Chicken Wraps

Use your breaded chicken, slice it up, and wrap in tortilla wraps with sweetcorn, tomatoes, and any leftover frozen veg. You can make a quick tomato salsa with the fresh tomatoes if you like.

4. Veggie Chilli

Combine chickpeas, kidney beans, and tin tomatoes to make a hearty chili. Serve with rice or wraps, and bulk it up with some frozen veg.

5. Sausage, Veg, and Chips

a simple dinner of sausages with chips and another of the frozen veg sachets.

6. Tuna Pasta Bake

Combine tuna, pasta, and sweetcorn, and mix with a little of the Bolognese sauce for a pasta bake. You can sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top (from a crumbled wrap if needed) and bake until crispy.

7. Rice and Veg Stir Fry

Use rice and the frozen veg sachets to make a stir fry. You could add a chopped sausage or the beefburger, sliced up for protein.

8. Soup

Make a hearty vegetable soup with carrots, tomatoes, peas, and chickpeas. You can serve it with some bread, which you can make using the flour, yeast, and butter.

9. Beefburger and Veg

Serve the beefburger with chips and a side of frozen veg. You could also add a little of the Branston pickle to give it some flavor.

10. Gammon Fried Rice

Dice up the leftover gammon steak and stir fry with rice, peas, and frozen veg for a filling meal.

If you have any ingredients left over at the end of the 10 days, you could combine them creatively to stretch meals further. This should cover your dinners nicely!

Chat gpt to the rescue - add cheese to please 😂

Day 1: Spaghetti Bolognese

Use mince steak, jar of bolognese sauce, pasta, and a bit of garlic bread from the freezer.

Serve with a side of frozen vegetables.

Day 2: Chicken Wraps

Use the chicken in breadcrumbs, wrap them in tortilla wraps, and add sweetcorn with a side of chips.

Day 4: Gammon Steak with Chips and Veg

Grill the gammon steak and serve with chips and the frozen veg sachets.

Day 5: Vegetable Stir-Fry with Rice

Use chickpeas, kidney beans, frozen veg sachets, and rice to make a hearty veggie stir-fry.

Day 6: Burger Night

Use the beefburger in the freezer, toast a wrap to act as a bun, and serve with chips or leftover veggies.

Day 7: Carrot and Chickpea Stew

Combine chickpeas, chopped carrots, and tinned tomatoes. Simmer to make a warm, hearty stew. Serve with rice.

Day 8: Sausage and Veg Traybake

Roast sausages with carrots, frozen veg, and a little butter for a simple meal.

Mince/chickpea/fridge Toms - chilli
sweetcorn and kidney beans with cheese quesadilla
assuming jar of sauce is meat free - tuna pasta with a bit more cheese on
gammon, chips and peas
sausage veg and chips
chicken in bead crumbs with more veg and garlic bread

depends if you can eat any of it for more than one meal

Chana masala at least once, with either rice or bread (wraps/pittas will do instead of chapatis, or a flour and yogurt instant bread in the frying pan). I do a very simple variation on this. Dirt cheap but very good.

If with rice, cook double and chill the second half promptly so you can use it for chicken fried rice with veg and one of the chicken breast, sliced, in the next few days.

If you have spuds, tuna fish cakes with sweetcorn and frozen veg is a good option.

Obviously spag bol with carrots, mince and the jar sauce. If it will stretch to 2 nights, a pasta bake with the remainder later in the week.

Kidney beans, tomatoes and carrots with a dollop of Branston for a bean casserole to go with sausages.

Chicken and chips, gammon/burger and chips.

Veg soup using whatever’s available with (cheese?) scones.

https://www.bringoutthebranston.co.uk/ Sweet pickle. Very nice in sandwiches. Adds a bit of oomph to savoury dishes if you like it.

Can’t beat a cheese and Branston pickle sarnie.
