I was in France recently and visited an artisan shop. Don't ask me why, maybe the cute labels 😊but I now have two X 250gr jars of artisan caramel made on site (so they say...).

One jar is citron yuzu flavoured (had to look up yuzu fruit - it's sweet fragrant and sour mandarin type flavour) and the other is raspberry flavoured.

What would I do with them apart from spreading on something or topping ice cream? If you have any (easy, I'm never going to be on Bake Off) ideas I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

Yes I was thinking of the shortbread, I can make that but it doesn't always turn out right for me. The lemon meringue - would the caramel be too thick, or how would I thin it down a bit? Maybe add some cream or something?

If all fails, I'll eat the stuff from a spoon, Swoon....

Maybe get a cooked pastey case, fill with the carmel, top with dark (not sweet chocolate) and raspberries.

Never thought of Banoffi. Doh..... a contender and no bake either if I use the biscuit base.
