Would you eat this cheese?!

It was bought from Waitrose on Monday and opened yesterday. It’s well within its date and has been in the fridge all the time. It has white spots of mould on it. Is this normal and harmless for this type of cheese, or should I throw it away?

It's not mould it's salt crystals! Absolutely I would eat it!

Yes, that's not mould it's fine.

Are you sure it's mold rather than calcium lactate crystals? How do they feel when you touch them?

coxesorangepippin · 03/10/2024 14:21

Seems fine
