Is this a suitable replacement for Chocolate Ice-cream?

I've had a bad week, a very bad week. I can't get out of the house tonight and fancied some spontaneous ice-cream and wine.

I popped an order for Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ben & Jerry's and some other bits from Co-op.

This substitution has absolutely added the cherry on top of a longggg week. Why would they do such a thing 😂

I've gone back onto their shop and looked at what's still in stock, out of these, which would you say is suitable?

Are you going to at least tell us which one they sent you?

No, the op will never return and I'm going to spend all evening wishing I had a tub of Phish Food!

Were other Ben&Jerry ice creams a part of the deal with something? (clutching at straws)
The only other reason I might think if they had delivery in between your order and your visit? Our Coop often has delivery later in the evening, not sure if they put things out straight away or not but could be as it’s a small shop.

I have 2 Lemon and honey ice creams in my freezer, they were part of the pizza and movie deal so I went with it. it’s definitely not a replacement for chocolate fudge ice cream, not in the slightest!!!! Considering that Phish food was Ben &Jerry as well, there is no excuse that they went with the brand so I would call and complain. I absolutely love white chocolate ice cream with lemon curd sauce or vanilla ice cream with runny honey but this Ben & Jerry variation is vile.
I would stick to wine in the future.

I was going to guess Lemon & Honey and I can totally understand your disappointment - it’s minging! I bought it once thinking it might be an interesting taste seeing as I can no longer find Americone Dream or Peanut Butter Cup anywhere, and it went in the bin. All 6 members of the family tried it and not one of us wanted to eat more than a spoonful.

It wasn't part of a deal, I hate to even admit I spent £6.30 on it. I tried it, it's an abomination. Although, I might feel a little better about it in a few days... we'll see..

The only Ben & Jerry one I like is Cherry Garcia. Never see it in the shops. Even though I do not like chocolate ice cream I love this one. Can only get it at the Vue cinemas!
