Haven't been on MN for a fair while as we moved house and I became rather addicted to RL. It's amazing what you can do in a single day when you're not MNing. M didn't know what had hit her with all the interaction. Been back on the Internet a few days and she's gone back to foraging on the floor for scraps. We've moved onto a farm in the middle of nowhere and it's brillig. The fresh air, the views, the smell of sheep poo...
I thought of you the other day. I've been trying to teach M to clap for ages (read as me clapping like a loon at every available opportunity and M giving me her best withering looks) and finally she managed it. The stimulus? Chaos Theory DVD with Maddy Prior singing 'Julie'. She clapped like her life depended on it. I'm very proud.
I really must drop you an email. Everything's been changing here. DH has been a copper for about 6 weeks, M turns 1 in 3 weeks, I'm a SAHM! I will surely email you and bore you with all the details.
Any fests planned this year? I was going to move away from Cambs and go for something a bit quieter where I can enjoy my tea in peace ([old]) but the line-up is extraordinary and it's so easy in the campervan.
What did you eat in the end? Chinese I hope.
