Decadent Christmas pudding recipe please

This year I’m sorting the Christmas dessert dilemma by making my own Christmas pudding.

Does anyone have a gorgeous, decadent, boozy pudding recipe?

When is a good time to make in advance?

I always use Nigel Slater’s Christmas pudding recipe but I’ll adapt it to added a little more or a little less of the fruits depending on what I can get/have.

Stir Up Sunday is the traditional time for making, but I soak my base fruit from now until I make it. I’m also free and easy with adding brandy/whisky the more the better, but vodka for lighting as the flame colour is nicer.
