Coffee machine help please

I've got this coffee machine - do I have to buy the expensive nespresso pods or can I buy cheaper ones from somewhere that will fit? Thank you

Last I knew the vertuo didn't have cheaper versions. When I was looking for a coffee machine I wanted one that had cheaper compatible pods and the vertuo didn't.

The Vertuo machine pods come with QR codes which are scanned, which lock you into Nespresso’s system. After they lost their patent for their original machine allowing anyone to produce compatible pods, they weren’t going to make that mistake again.
