How to freeze crumbles?

Is it better to freeze fruit crumbles before cooking or once cooked and cooled? If the latter do you just defrost in the fridge and then cook as normal?

I either freeze a cooked crumble, or freeze raw fruit and crumble mix separately and make my crumble when needed.

@IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads why freeze separately? I have put an uncooked one in the freezer this evening… it can be cooked in the dish it’s in once defrosted..

I just put it in the dish and covered the top with foil and will then cook it in that dish once defrosted… hopefully it will be fine!

I freeze it all as one , already cooked , wrapped inside a plastic bag . Defrost it and then microwave .
