Hi all just wondering if anyone could recommend some very easy quick slow cooker recipes I'm a FTM and don't have time to cook dinner most evenings so something super easy and quick is needed right now .

Have you already got a slow cooker?

I have an instant pot that also pressure cooks as well as slow cooking - much quicker. You can make casserole in half hour, I cook rice in it etc. So you can make dinner whenever and if doesn't matter if you have five hours for it to slow cook, it switches to slow cook when the pressure cook time finishes.

As to easy and quick - any slow cooker recipe involves a fair bit of chopping. Stuffed pasta and jacket potatoes in microwave saw me through early baby days.

Your partner should also be doing their bit!

They are don't worry more than their share tbh but there will be the odd evening they are home late and I will need to cook x

Sausage casserole https://healthylivingjames.co.uk/easy-slow-cooker-sausage-casserole/

This doesn’t involve any browning. The cutting of the vegetables takes the most amount of time so I buy already prepped veggies where possible. https://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/slow-cooker-vegetable-tagine.html

Anything on the taming twins website. Also use frozen onions, frozen butternut squash and sweet potato are good too. Lazy garlic.

Boneless, skinless chicken thighs with a little oil in the bottom, add any spices you like eg 5 spice, curry, shawarma etc separate with a fork put in wraps with salad or add to anything else.

Stew of any kind, I also have an instant pot, so can brown off. Aldi do a really good pork casserole mix that's great in the slow cooker with diced pork, chopped veg and gravy. You can have it as it is or add extra veg/flavourings.

Mince is great, as it makes it soft, so bolognaise, chilli, savoury mince as base for shepherd's or cottage pie.
