Evening all. I know there isn't really any such thing as a quick fix but I'd like to feel a bit trimmer ahead of a holiday in 3 weeks time so I am ready to be quite strict. Please share your food / meal plan for shifting a bit of weight pre an event / holiday. I'm fine with my arms and legs mainly down to 3 cardio classes a week and a swim but it is my little pouch below belly button that I'm sure is not helped by wine consumption which often follows by crisps. So I am think no alcohol, no crisps and don't like sweets or chocolate. I usually carb cut but just looking for some other ideas. Planning on food shop tomorrow. I basically eat anything! Thanks

This is what works for me:

Intermittent fasting -16:8
Portion control
No snacking on sugary crap treats
> have a boiled egg or a carrot or an apple instead
Mediterranean diet
> I.e. lots of vegetables,

> some protein and
> healthy fats (nuts, EVOO)
> and a little dairy (full fat Greek yoghurt)

Basically cut down/out UPF, sugar and refined carbs. And check out Dr Becky:

That's great thanks, some Saturday night reading and watching to do! Going to get the notebook out and make a shopping list and attempt a meal plan I see there's a good meal plan further down the page so will have a read of that too for some veg / protein recipes. Going to try and eat more fish. I love boiled eggs
