Am I mad? Aren't Jaffa Oranges supposed to be pip free?

I just had to pick 12 pips out of one I just peeled for dds.
Minor complaint really, but I bought them for a reason . . .
God my life is dull
If I get any replies I'll know MN is having a slow day . . . . .

they can't all be seedless cos they wouldn't reproduce otherwise. I think they reduce the number of pips in the majority of fruit be treating the tree with hormone spray, and breeding- looks like you were unlucky with that batch. At least they didn't squirt you in the eye while you de piped them out of spite.

actually I did get squirted!! I think that just added to my orange fury!!!
