Where can I buy American style waffles in the UK?

i assume they’d be frozen? But easy either way, just not sure what I’m looking for!!

Do you mean like Eggos? I‘ve seen some frozen waffles on Ocado that look similar (Griddle Waffles). Not sure how good they are as never tried them. They seem quite expensive though!

If you’re going to be eating them often though you should take a look at this blog post - I can vouch for the recipe, it works, they’re delicious and my 11yo now makes them as they’re so easy. We often have a batch in the freezer and they’re perfect toasted. Mini waffle irons are pretty cheap on Amazon too.

The ikea heart-shaped ones are the closest I've had in this country.

I have a teeny waffle iron that only makes one at a time, they take a little more time in the iron than is suggested in this recipe to hold their shape in mine. This is the one I have, others are available - Clicky Amazon Link

I’m American and the toaster waffles you find in most supermarkets (like they’ll be with the crumpets in the bread aisle) are pretty close, just sweeter.

Honestly, waffles in America are pretty shite, so it’s not something I’d be going out of my way to emulate. You’d be better off with a waffle iron and making proper waffles.

You can buy them in larger supermarkets next to the crumpets and muffins.
