Jam Thermometers Recommendations Please

Any one use one? Reliable one? Recommendations please.

I have one but no longer use it. A thermoscan or similar digital probe thermometer works just as well. Check until the temp is 105 and test! No squinting and checking necessary.

Thanks for the advice marmalade. I haven't made jam in a while. Nor have I used a thermometer, thought it might be a good idea but a lot of the reviews for different products aren't that good. Tempted to go digital.
