Thick full fat yoghurt - Flavoured

I like a thick greek full fat style yoghurt, thick enough to hold your spoon upside down and it doesn't fall off but I'm finding it harder to find these in shops.
They're either low fat, layered with fruit or a watery consistency.

I like the texture of a plain/full fat/greek yoghurt but id like some flavour, any suggestions?

I mostly shop at Sainsbury's due to delivery pass but also Morrisons or Asda some times.

I love The Collective - meets your requirements I think!

Yeo do an extra thick one, and there's an M & S one too that's lush but quite dear.

heldinadream · 26/08/2024 19:43

It's not Greek but the Bonne Maman flavoured yogurts are whole milk and lush. Especially the violet fig, and the rhubarb and strawberry.

If you ever find yourself in Waitrose then Tim's Dairy yoghurt is amazing. Just wish it was stocked in a few more places.

I do like the Collective but Tim's dairy beats it - super thick and creamy.

I like Aldi's full fat Greek yogurt it's plain but I add my protein toffee drops and nuts or granola and it's delicious

Skyr Baked Apple - M&S £2.65

It's lush and the whole pot is 1.5 syns at Slimming World

Thickest I've ever seen and really nice

Not Greek yoghurt, but similar, have you tried these Yeo valley kefir ones, which are pretty thick, but perhaps not quite as thick as you want.

The Coconut Collab - non dairy but absolutely delicious

The Sainsburys taste the difference Greek yoghurt is very good. Now I buy it every week it comes up on my nectar offers quite often.

For flavour I defrost some fruits of the forest in the microwave to add to it.

Tim’s is the best one to meet your requirements. Also the M&S ones labelled West Country luxury yogurts (or similar name but not called Greek yogurt) but they only come in small pots.

As pp, Tim's, blackcurrant or raspberry

SidekickSylvia · 26/08/2024 20:12

I mix in a generous helping of double cream with most yoghurts, to thicken them up. The only time I don't need to is with Bonne Maman, as they're thick enough.

Butterbeanbutterbo · 26/08/2024 20:12

Tim’s is the best I’ve found. We like Blackcurrant flavour or honey. Big coops do it as well as Waitrose and some asdas

Stirmish · 26/08/2024 20:21

Just add flavour
