lovecat · 17/04/2008 16:13

Scallops and bacon

Dover Sole Fiorentina

Tiramisu with raspberries.

T'was my fave meal at our wonderful local Italian before the owner sold up to some cruddy health-food cafe... mutter mutter...

But tbh, given that I'm not allowed real food for another 5 weeks yet, Fray Bentos S&K pud wtih chippy chips and Batchelor's Marrowfat peas would do me a treat right now!

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 17/04/2008 16:15

I have a cold and feel like poo, so really anything that I haven't had to cook myself, but if I'm being really indulgent:

Hollands Steak & Kidney pudding

Chips

mushy peas

gravy

bread bun

all bought from the chippy down the road from where I used to live in Manchester.

(but still hot)

CrackerOfNuts · 17/04/2008 16:16

Same as wigwam, absolutly anything, if it meant I didn't have to cook it.

To be pointed at a bath at 6pm with a gin&tonic. Then brought olives around 6.15pm. Then brought anything in bed at 7pm.

hairyhandedSteve · 17/04/2008 16:26

I did mean anything of a food nature at 7pm.

sweetkitty · 17/04/2008 16:30

I agree anything I didn't have to cook myself.

Something like

Goats cheese on posh toast with cranberries and wild mushrooms

Fresh pizza or pasta

Cheesecake

MaureenMLove · 17/04/2008 16:37

Beef Wellington, made by my DH. He made me the most fabulous one once, but I was so hung over, I didn't fully appreciate it!

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 17/04/2008 16:40

Crayfish/lobster & rocket salad
A big steak with a creamy mushroomy sauce and more fried mushrooms on the side and a few homemade chips. Possibly some roasted cherry tomatoes.
Lemon sorbet.
And a glass of Chablis Premier Cru.

Or possibly fried chicken livers with bacon, spinach and mashed potatoes. Not allowed though - pregnant!

lulumama · 17/04/2008 16:42

to start

scallops with some salad leaves, or maybe a warm lambs liver salad

piri piri prawns and / or mmoules mariniere with fabulous rustic crusty bread and a very cold beer

dark chocolate mousse

lulumama · 17/04/2008 16:43

i didn;lt mean that was all to start, i just forgot to add in
'main course' and 'dessert' , gluttonous though i am, that would be OTT!

Twinkie1 · 17/04/2008 16:48
