Tell me about air fryers please

We've been looking at air fryers for such a long time, there's so many different kinds & sizes that I think my brain got air fried with all the info. Anyway I think we're going to go for the Ninja double stack, does anyone have one of these, is it any good, easy to use & keep clean?
Also I would love some tried and tested recipes to help me get started, we've got no allergies to worry about & eat meat, fish veggies everything! Thank you in advance.

I don't have that model, so can't help there.

I use silicon baskets for some things to keep the insides clean - they go in the DW
You can use your own recipes, but will need to reduce both the temp. & the time.
Manufacturer's website might help, or there are on-line sites that give conversions. I've got a Phillips AF, & their app HomeID is good , & I'm sure is relevant for other makes.
Also a lot of cook-books are available, but I don't need to be told how to cook something that goes in an oven.

I've had mine over 8 years - didn't realise I'm a trend-setter !

If it died, I'd replace immediately

I got a Tower one back in the spring. Paid about £35 as packaging damaged (retail price was c£65). I would certainly upgrade when it dies. I use my main oven far less now. It's not really big enough to cook a whole meal for two, but at least I know what it can do.

You can do just about anything in the air fryer. I love how quick everything takes.

There's a lot of bad reviews for the stack. It's great but has a small footprint but it doesn't heat so well. Make sure you check that out before you buy.

Thanks, I have seen some bad reviews but you do get them on everything don't you really, I've bought things that have gone on to receive scathing reviews but I have loved them, so you just never really know until you try it. It's a big spend through, so still undecided 😊

Sorry to haul up old thread, but did you splurge on one @chattyness ? If so, thoughts?
