Big Green Egg anyone?

I'm so tempted to get one. They seem to be really versatile and easy to use. Has anyone got one? If so, is it for summer only or do you use it the rest of the year?

I have one and love it! It’s a summer only thing for us but makes bbq cooking more interesting than sausages and burgers. Only wish we’d bought the biggest one.

We’ve got a competitor’s but it’s essentially the same thing. DH loves it. Mostly a summer thing but very useful for winter big gatherings - I put DH in charge of meat on it and sort all the sides inside

@karmakameleon what size did you buy? We're a family of 5 (dc are older teens) and quite often have dc friends for dinner. We don't entertain that much but do have family over for Christmas. The shop assistant was persuading me that the xl BGE was the best option for me, but it's HUGE! Do you often use it for smaller meals too or only when you're entertaining?

I'm planning to mostly use it in a foodie way rather than bbq burgers & sausages but dc will use it for those..... I'd decided on the large but you've made me think....

We bought the large and should have got the extra large. I find that the large is perfect for our family but if we have people round it’s not big enough.
