Are they all grapes if not then which is and what are the others?

If they are all grapes then why are they different?

Thanks for the answer

I am wondering if currants and raisins are black grapes and saltanas are white grapes

What do you think?

Raisins = dried white grapes (usually Muscatel grapes)

Sultanas = small dried raisins

Currants = dried black grapes

No blackcurrants involved

RTKangaMummy · 13/04/2008 11:48

oooooh thanks guys

was trying to work this out in middle of night and thought MN would know the answer

You were trying to work it out in the middle of the night?!?!?! Shouldn't you have been running through the RT line-up for the next day instead?

RTKangaMummy · 13/04/2008 11:53

sonic

I was doing that too

cos there is so much for me and DS to watch today and I was trying to work out how to time it with other stuff too

ie he is swimming atm and so the timming of recorded stuff and reg TV was trying to wrok out

OP posts:
sonicdeathmonkey · 13/04/2008 11:55

hahaha - you're so good at multi-tasking Were you working out what would be the healthiest grape-based snacks then? It all makes sense now....

RTKangaMummy · 13/04/2008 12:02

no not really

my fav brekkie atm is rice crispys, natural yog, saltanas and grapes all mixed up

and DS had it yesterday and said it was a bit sour and I was trying to work out whether raisins are sweeter

I don't want to add sugar or anything else like honey and so was trying to work it out and then what the difference was between them all

Then I was working out the depth of swimming pool with gemometry and so how far DS + DH could go before the water was over their head but as the pool floor isn't a equal gradient/slope it wasn't possible

OP posts:
sonicdeathmonkey · 13/04/2008 12:08

Ahhh, would have said raisins would be a tiny bit sweeter but not a huge lot.

And geometry I'm leaving dd in reception for the rest of her life - I can manage that homework

RTKangaMummy · 13/04/2008 12:13

I couldn't do the maths though but at least it sent me back to sleep

I think I will try with raisins

OP posts:
sonicdeathmonkey · 13/04/2008 12:14

Lol, good idea - homework to induce sleep, I like it

DD's breakfast today was a gingerbread man, maybe I should be adding more raisins
