I just got one of these Nutribullet 600 from Amazon because as well as being a blender as I thought it would replace my mini chopper which recently died. It looked to me in the blurb on Amazon that it was capable of chopping nuts and even ice.
Now it has arrived the leaflet says you must have liquid to use the extractor blade, and if you wanted to chop dry ingredients like nuts you need to buy another blade called a milling blade. This isn't clear in the all the Amazon blurb, so I feel a bit annoyed.
I wanted it as both a blender and as a chopper. If anyone here has got one, can you chop things like onions or other veg without having to add liquid? Which blade would you use?
I'm wondering if I bought the wrong gadget, but I feel a bit misled. (and it says not to put hot liquids in, so no soup then.)
