I've joined the air fryer owners club, but I have no idea what to do with it!

Looking at old threads and other sources online, ot seems whatever you cook in the oven you can cook in the AF.

Do you need to put the items on a dish or tray before you out it in the AF though?

I hear you could make fritters and things with wet ingredients in it, but wouldn't you have to either line it first or put in a dish?

Could things like home made chips go straight in without a liner?

What do people usually make in theirs? Inspire me please!

Anyway, using an airfryer/recipes…

Ive bought silicone liners and use them every time I use the airfyer - makes the clean up much easier.

Instagram has absolutely loads of recipes to try and inspiration.

I have roasted a small gammon joint and that works well. I also use it for roast veggies and roast potatoes when I make Sunday lunch. A friend has baked bread in her’s but I’m not brave enough to try that and I’m not the most confident bread maker so stick to tried and tested.

I used Bored of Lunch website a lot -

I would be very excited about it op - I live kitchen stuff as presents, I can't always justify it myself and noone can choose me the perfect book or earrings.
Anyway - best advice re air fryers I got was to reduce both time and temp when cooking. I did salmon the other day (wrap fillets in foil, season) at 180 for 10 mins. Things like nuggets, same. Whatever the instruction says, reduce by a bit then check as needed. Depending what it is, I either use a proper liner, bung a bit of foil under the food to stop it going through the little base thing or just chuck it straight in. I wash it after every use.
