Just that really. Either snacks or ready to eat meals. So far I've come up with pigs in blankets and that's it 😂

If you want to go right back to the mediaeval period, you could serve up bowls of pottage and raw turnips, but I wouldn't recommend it. Grin

RainbowZebraWarrior · 29/06/2024 18:27

Mini fish and chip cones

Roast beef or roast pork sarnies

Saveloy dips

Greg's sausage rolls / Cheese Pasties etc.

Scampi / Chicken in a basket

Sausages / Hot dogs and burgers

Big bowls of home made stew / scouse / casserole

Corned beef pie

A big pan of lentil soup / Broth

Cheese scones and Sarnies with potted beef (afternoon tea-ish)

When the football was on at the pub I worked in (many year ago) we would serve up huge bowls of roast potatoes, bowls of cubed black pudding and chunks of ham hacked off a home cooked joint plus bowls of tripe which knocked me sick

BluebirdBoogie · 29/06/2024 18:53

Wow, so many great suggestions, thank you. Think I'll go for an afternoon tea with beer instead of tea!
