I’m thinking of lasagne. How easy is it to make? I’m good with minced beef and quorn lasagne but is turkey similar?

Do I need basil?

I haven’t made Turkey lasagne but these enchiladas are super https://groceries.aldi.co.uk/en-GB/recipes/32cQKavwSE-80QxcEPO8Bw/Turkey-Mince-Enchiladas

Turkey burgers - mix with a few tablespoons of cranberry sauce, egg, oats to bind, garlic powder and salt and pepper. Bake at 180 for about 25 mins.

To answer your original question, OP, yes, I'd make your bolognese sauce exactly the same way you would with beef or Quorn mince.

You could also try these turkey meatballs, which are really lovely. (Nigella Lawson recipe.) https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/turkey_meatballs_in_16570

Nigella's turkey meatballs are light and succulent, as well as being lower in fat. Make a batch – half for tea and half to be frozen for future outings.

PS Do you need basil - well, I pretty much always add a bit of oregano and/or basil to a tomato-based sauce if it's going to be an Italian or some other sort of Mediterranean-inspired dish. Not essential, but I love the flavours.

I use all varieties of mince interchangeably for basics recipes such as Shepherds pie, chilli, lasagne, spaghetti Bolognese, burgers, meatballs, meat loaf etc
