I do.

Clearinguptheclutter · 21/06/2024 19:05

I would. I’d eat within 24h

TheYearOfSmallThings · 21/06/2024 19:06

I would.

SofaSpuds · 21/06/2024 19:09

I would use it tomorrow, probably make it into a lasagne 😋

NoSnowdrop · 21/06/2024 19:09

Yup. Make sure you do heat it thoroughly tomorrow!

PurpleBugz · 21/06/2024 19:19

I would. Just heat it very well

bananamum13 · 21/06/2024 19:56

I would too

Do88byisfree · 21/06/2024 21:04

I would only ever reheat meat once after originally cooking it. I wouldn't reheat it again.

BananaPie · 21/06/2024 21:08

Did you just defrost it or did you heat it up?

If you just defrosted it to room / fridge temp it will be fine to eat within 24 hours.

if you heated it up and allowed it to cool again you shouldn’t reheat.

HappyAsASandboy · 22/06/2024 09:38

I think the safety advice is not to reheat twice. I would with bolognese though because you can heat it to a zillion degrees and kill any bugs that have grown. I wouldn't do it with chicken breast!

TwigTheWonderKid · 22/06/2024 09:48

Yes you can. Just make sure it is super hot.

CornishTeaTime · 22/06/2024 12:57

Thanks...yes defrosted then heated up. Cooled down and DS has taken to work to reheat for lunch! He'll be fine...I think 😄 if it was chicken or fish I dont think I would

The standard advice is that you should only reheat cooked food once after freezing.

That's the advice for commercial kitchens but if you actually research a bit more, domestically, twice reheating is generally considered fine if done properly.

samarrange · 22/06/2024 21:41

Yes, of course. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on the pasta as the sauce may have lost a tiny bit of flavour.

TerfTalking · 22/06/2024 21:44

I would, but then I reheat all sorts of dodgy stuff like the previous nights Chinese takeaway. I’m pretty sure beef (that you can consume safely raw) will be fine.

wastingtimeonhere · 22/06/2024 21:48

I was brought up on roast on Sunday, sliced with boiled veg on Monday, cold Tuesday and minced in gravy on Wednesday..still alive..😂
