Hi I'm looking for the holy grail (mix)... healthy ish flapjack or oat bars, ideally with no refined sugar or butter. Does this exist or will it be horrendous?

Search for ‘baby led weaning oat bars’ - lots of basic options you can add to. Porridge fingers are also quick and easy to customise, and they last a few days in an air tight container.

I make flapjacks as a school snack, they aren’t low cal though. Roughly 250g of oats, 200g of crunchy peanut butter, 50g honey ( 2-3 tbsp). Chuck them in a pan, heat, stir thoroughly, five minutes on the stove . Press down into a tray and set in the fridge overnight.

You can add more stuff fruit/ nuts/seeds but keep them small and add a bit more peanut butter. You can also shape these into balls and set in the fridge. The dc like them as balls dipped in chocolate( unsurprisingly). Best eaten after being out of fridge for 20 minutes.
