Overnight oats no yoghurt

I’m looking for recipes for overnight oats without yoghurt please! My attempts so far have been really runny (tasted nice though). Happy to add protein powder, chia etc and pretty much anything else!

Have a search on TikTok. There are loads of people doing recipe videos on there.

You can leave the yoghurt out of most overnight oats recipes as long as there’s a roughly 1:1 oats to liquid ratio. You just need to figure out the correct amount of ingredients to fit whatever container you’re using :)

Recipe: Blueberry Walnut Overnight Oats

A simple, satisfying way to start your day.

TikTok blueberry & lemon zest, chai seeds with yogurt but swap the yogurt for cottage cheese and blitz in liquidiser

Chia seeds with thicken it up so no need for yogurt.

I do mine traditional Bircher style after soaking, with a spoonful of condensed milk and a grated apple, topped with chopped nuts, plus some cinnamon.

I’ve had it with actimel which is (surprisingly?) nice. You need to play ability until you get the ratio you prefer. I have about 3 tablespoons of oats to one small bottle.

I do loads of different varieties of overnight oats. How about

Mashed banana, cinnamon, rolled oats, maple syrup and top with your favourite milk or milk alternative

Or

Rolled oats, raisins, hazelnuts, and top with apple juice.

If your overnight oats are too runny you're probably using the the wrong kind of oats or too much liquid.

I don't use yoghurt (cannot always tolerate dairy).

usually I just use water and then add chocolate sprinkles some flavour like ground ginger or cinnamon.
currently in the fridge for tomorrow:
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 tablespoons cracked linseed
handful of dried chopped fruit
5 tablespoons steel cut oats

topped with water, stirred so that the chia seeds don't stick together. amount of water is a bit trial and error, and also depends on how dry the ingedients are in the first place.
