Pudding from overripe bananas

What pudding would you make from overripe bananas that isn’t banana bread?

Discovered last night that one of the dc hid half the Tesco shop behind the sofa while playing ‘shop’ 🙄 Most of it was store cupboard stuff so fine, gone back in the cupboard, but I now have 3 very overripe bananas to do something with. I could make banana bread, but a bit bored with that. What would you make? Ideally with normal ingredients I’d already have and not something specialist I’d have to go hunting for at the shops.

I freeze over ripe bananas (peel them first) and use them in a date and walnut loaf. Takes an hour or two to defrost.
Works really well.

I know you said no banana bread but this is banana bread with a difference and is easily the most reliably delicious cake I make...

I use Green and Black's dark cooking chocolate for the chunks and I omit the baking powder and bake for 35 minutes in a bigger square tin rather than a loaf tin and it really is very nice.

Other thing I do with very ripe bananas is to make banana milkshakes: Greek yoghurt, milk, vanilla essence and bananas blended using a mini chopper.

Rustle up a moreish chocolate chip banana bread – it’s a great way to use up ripe bananas that are lingering in the fruit bowl

Sliced or split banana in tin toil, add sugar and cinnamon. Bake or bbq.

Banana pancakes for breakfast tomorrow.

Peel, chop and freeze.
Next time there's a hot day, blitz them from frozen until soft and feed it to your DC as ice cream. No other ingredient needed.

Banoffe pie

I normally make smoothie, pancakes or no-churn ice cream with very ripe bananas. If I’ve got time, I’ll do peanut butter banana cheesecake https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/no-bake-peanut-banana-cheesecake

Definitely banana ‘ice cream’ - we’ve got loads in the freezer ready for when the sun finally comes out 😥. And DD makes a very thick pancake mixture with whizzed up banana mixed in, then serves with honey and ice cream (could be banana ice cream 😁).

Bread and butter pudding with bananas. It's delicious, just add banana to any recipe and rum soaked raisins.

Over ripe bananas freeze fine till you decide what to do with them.
