Potato, Carrot & Swede Mash

Sainsburys Potato, Carrot & Swede Mash. I live alone and usually microwave half the pack for one meal and have the rest another day. Opened it the other day and been sat in fridge ever since and had other half tonight and noticed use by date was 3 days ago and says on packet DO NOT EXCEED USE BY DATE. It smelled and tasted fine. Will I be OK, am worried now

It Is root veg you will be fine, off carrot really stinks.

thank you guys, I am just funny about out of date stuff that's all and I know all the stores have a legal obligation to put dates on certain stuff. Now if it were meat that would be a different matter

They are taking dates off vegetables but they probably have to with that because it's a "ready meal" .
