Anybody ever tried to make a Toy Story/ Buzz Lightyear birthday cake?

DS is having a Buzz Lightyear themed birthday party next week and I can't for the life of me find any decent examples of a Buzz Lightyear birthday cake on the web? Anybody had any success with making one of these? Pictures would be great.

you can get edible icing cake toppers printed, lots of sellers on ebay. i usually find a picture on the internet and ask them to print it. then you just peel it off the backing and stick it on top of the cake. if its for next week i would ask about next day delivery first

alternatively you might find a local kitchen shop which hires out shaped cake tins. or just make a huge cake in a roasting tin, cut out a shape of a rocket on paper and then use it to cut out the shape of the cake. fondant icing, new paintbrush and food colouring to colour it in
