Low calorie lunches other than soup / salad

Need to lose some weight so am overhauling my eating habit. Key to my weight loss success is still enjoying my food and not feeling hungry soon after a meal.

I love bread, cheese etc for lunch - likely hence why I need to lose weight! I will still have the occasional sandwich but want primarily to have things that are healthy, lo cal, filling and tasty.

Soup / salads are good but need some other options. Want to avoid pasta salads etc .

Thank you

I would make a ressoto or paella, plenty of protein and use veggies to bulk out the rice a bit to reduce calories.

A tin of ratatouille and a toasted pitta.
Porridge with berries or chopped up fruit
Egg salad wrap
Omelette with veggies

Chicken schawarma - tasty & low-cal.
I make a batch as it freezes well, then have either hot or cold with whatever veg I fancy; home-made coleslaw is good.

I often have miso soup with udon noodles, veg and tofu (if you fancy) both for breakfast and for lunch.

Itsu miso pouches that you just add to boiling water, ready to wok noodles (I prefer udon) from supermarket that you just need to microwave in the pouch for a minute, add to soup, top with chillies, spring onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, any other raw veg/kimchi, and I like silken tofu.

Seafood and shellfish. Clams, mussels, prawns... all delicious and low cal. an herbs covered chicken breast cooked in the oven and cut into stripes.
Green beans, cook 1 kg of them and have a niçoise salad with boiled eggs, tuna, tomatoes and onions.
I think you are misled on how delicious good salads can be.

How about the Jen Salad ? Rumour has it the Friends actresses ate it every day for 10 years but that's been debunked. However it still looks delicious and healthy, I'm giving it a try this week

Jennifer Aniston Salad

Here's how to make the viral Jennifer Aniston salad with quinoa or bulgur, cucumber, fresh herbs, pistachios, chickpeas and feta all tossed in lemon juice and olive oil.

Bagel thins or gluten free sandwich thins (about 150 kcal) with low fat hummus/cream cheese and smoked salmon or turkey

I know that you already mentioned you still have the odd sandwich, but sandwiches can be lowish calorie if you're careful what you choose, and you don't need to feel guilty about having them.
You just need to choose a low calorie loaf, a tin of tuna in spring water, and use light mayo to make tuna mayo (no need for any butter/marg as the tuna mayo is wet enough) and you have a sandwich for 300 calories or less that's got a great amount of protein in it... and you still get to enjoy the bread!
