Yumbox vs Planetbox

Hi! Back in the lunchbox market with DD (18m). We had a yumbox original bento for DS (now 6) when he was a toddler through preschool, then he moved to a b.box lunchbox as it fits loads more + whole pieces of fruit.

I loved everything about the yumbox but the designs scratched off the back of ours. It looked so bad. Do the designs always scratch off or was mine defective? The company I bought it off implied mine was defective but it was out of warranty and I never got to the bottom of it!

Other option is investing in a Planetbox Rover but I can’t stomach the price - omg. But if it was really fab and would last her til school and beyond maybe it’s worth it?

I like the compartment sizes of the yumbox and it looks like they’re similar on the rover?

Or the Yumbox Presto? Seems like a mix of both? Anyone?

If you like Yumbox Original and want a bit more room try Yumbox Tapas

Presto is heavier and doesn't fit quite as much as a Tapas

Tray designs are not a problem, never had any scratch off and we put the removable trays through the dishwasher almost every day ( we have an embarrassingly large collection BlushGrin )
