After 20 years or so I have good pans but lids that have gone to heaven or don’t fit. Time to invest in some new ones. I have sauté, milk pan and frying pan from Scoville but don’t need non-stick for boiling rice. Ideally glass lids as I’m already terrible for letting the pan boil over. Willing to spend for good quality.

I have Prestige Lifetime pans, over 30 years old & still good.
The handles are no longer shiny, but matte. I think they were not advertised to go in a dishwasher, but of course the functionality is not affected.
I was given Le Creuset as a wedding present, but they are very heavy, & I much prefer the PL.

We have John Lewis Classic pans - all stainless steel, and have lasted 25 years (some of them) so far. Metal lids, but they whistle before they boil over.

Stellar- I recently bought new ones as we got an induction hob, but my original set were 30 years old and still immaculate
