Pink rice = bacteria??

Hi
Looking for some help please on what this pink stuff could be on this cooked sushi rice (store bought from a meal deal)... The underneath of the rice is bright pink in places. Didn't realise until I'd already ate a few. I tried to google but not getting any straight answers. I've been really poorly lately so have just started antibiotics and this was the first bit of food I've attempted in the last 4 days...typical isn't it! Any food hygiene pro's etc on here that can advise what this is please ... Many thanks

Is there any pickled radish in there? Looks like food dye from some kind of pickle

Mysticfalls · 03/05/2024 14:50

Dye from pickled ginger slices maybe ?

None that I can see listed, just cooked rice, chicken, red pepper, cucumber and lettuce with seaweed.

It's just picked up colour from the red pepper
